Hello everyone! For context, I have Reddit account, and I use it to post my artwork here as well. This might be a surprise to you, but I also draw some SFW stuff from time to time. For example, my Angie Yonaga art. I obviously don't think SFW artwork belongs to NSFW subreddits, so I post it to the biggest general subs. Angie Yonaga artwork was recieved very well! People made a few horny jokes, obviously, but that was about it!
Recently I made Hornet in a white dress art. It was pretty SFW in my opinion, so I posted it to the biggest Hollow Knight subreddit out there. Oh my god! Biggest mistake of my life! First off, they think this art was extremely sexualised! Yeah, right. I bet they never seen covers of fashion magazines. And secondly, even if it was sexualised, the amount of people in Hollow Knight community, and any other indie game community, who can't seem to fathom that anything popular can have and will have lewd art of it being made, is insane! I said it before and I'll say it again - Rule 34 is a law of The Universe. You can't fight it as you can't fight Time itself or the gravity. If you don't like that or easily get offended by a mere fact this type or artwork existing and people enjoying it - you should get off the internet. Puritans are cringe and have caused more harm than any lewd artist ever will.
Thank you for visiting my Ted Talk.
